Areas of Practice: Patents, Engineering and Technical Analysis
Sajid R. Ansari is a Patent Agent with extensive experience as a practicing engineer in the areas of hardware systems design, integration and testing systems, air traffic management systems, and business method systems. Sajid has considerable experience in preparing system diagrams, engineering specifications, technical analysis reports, and engineering proposals for clients, such as the FAA.
Sajid’s practice includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the fields of mechanical systems, electronic systems, computer hardware and software, and wireless and cellular networks. Sajid also have experience in drafting patent applications in the fields of cellular, optical, and computer network technologies, and software integration.
Prior to joining RMSC², Sajid worked as a Patent Agent at various small IP boutique firms, and was a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. At the Patent Office, Sajid examined patent applications relating to complex mechanical devices such as security locks, shape memory alloy latch systems, vehicle and electronic closure systems, calibration systems, and electronically controlled fastening mechanisms.
Sajid was also a Project Management Consultant for the FAA at ITT Industries, and a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, Corp. At ITT Industries, Sajid served as a deputy project manager for FAA weather systems acquisition and upgrades projects, where he provided clients with scheduling, project management, and engineering solutions. Sajid also earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, where he gained experience in the fundamentals of managing complex projects and systems. At Lockheed Martin, Sajid assisted with the hardware deployment and implementation for several FAA Air Traffic Management programs. Sajid also earned his Greenbelt certification, where he gained experience in improving system design and efficiency.
